How It Works
What do you mean by “Virtual Assistant” or “VA”?
According to the International Virtual Assistants Association (IVAA), “A Virtual Assistant (VA) is an independent entrepreneur providing administrative, creative and/or technical services. Utilizing advanced technological modes of communication and data delivery, a professional VA assists clients in his/her area of expertise from his/her own office on a contractual basis.”
How is using a VA better than hiring an on-site employee?
A virtual assistant can be a great choice if on-site assistance is not required and less than full-time support is needed. A VA assists you on a contractual basis – saving time, stress and (sometimes) money. No payroll taxes or hassles. No space or equipment to provide. A VA takes care of this his/herself.
How is a VA better than a “temp”?
A temporary worker is just that – temporary. After you have invested training time, h/she will ultimately move on to another company and be unavailable the next time you need help. Retaining a VA means that you have the same service provider to call on each time, who gets to know your business, and is a loyal partner in your success.
Do you require a contract?
Aday VA Solutions requires a signed service agreement and prepayment before work begins.
Services & Solutions
I didn’t find the service or solution I’m looking for. What else do you offer?
Each client’s situation and needs are different, therefore solutions must be tailored to meet those needs. If you didn’t find exactly what you’re looking for in Services or Solutions, please contact us to describe your situation. If we’re not the particular provider for you, chances are that we know someone else to refer you to. We also collaborate with other firms and colleagues to facilitate client needs in an efficient and cost-effective way. We’re your “go-to” resource.
Do you guarantee your services?
Aday VA Solutions has an uncompromising commitment to deliver top-quality service and 100% customer satisfaction. Your appraisal is critically important to our reputation and overall success. If at any time you are not completely satisfied, please let us know so we can remedy the situation immediately. Likewise, please let us know what we’re doing right. You are invited to share your comments and suggestions freely.
Pricing
How much do your services cost?
Pricing is based on several factors: service type, project scope, payment plan, additional costs incurred, and special requirements. This is discussed before work begins.
Are there any additional charges?
Sometimes. Additional charges vary and may include: customized collaboration workspace, postage/delivery, domain name registrations, long-distance, supplies, rush fees, and travel time. Your projects will dictate those charges, and we’ll make every effort to discuss them up front and avoid surprises.
When would I incur a rush fee?
If you need a faster than normal turnaround time, this may incur a rush fee, which would be determined and agreed upon before the project begins. Rush requests are accepted on a case-by-case basis only.
Billing & Payment
Is our communication time billable?
Work related phone calls, voice mails and emails – whether incoming or outgoing – are billable. This is time spent managing your projects. But if the work related stuff evolves into friendly chit-chat (which we do enjoy) then we’ll stop the clock and “take our VA hats off”.
Tell me more about the Retainer option.
Retainer billing is available after an introductory period and requires a signed agreement for a minimum of 6 months of service. Cancellation requires a 45-day written notice. If service is canceled before the 6 month minimum is fulfilled, all hours will be billed, or re-billed if applicable, at the non-discounted hourly rate.
What are your payment terms?
Prepayment is required for all services and are charged to your credit card on file through our merchant services account. Retainer prepayments are normally processed on the first business day of each month.
What types of payment do you accept?
Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
Software & Technology
What types of technology do you use?
Methods used to communicate and collaborate with you include: email, online collaboration tools, phone, fax, and USPS or other carrier.
